Happy Holidays everyone!

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your time with family and friends this season. We got to spend Christmas with my wife’s grandparents in a small Nevada mining town about three hours north of Las Vegas called Pioche. It snowed on and off the whole time we were there! I can’t remember the last time I had a Christmas with snow - it was so much fun. We even built an 8 foot tall snow man with a carrot nose and hair made out of old shrubs. I know, I know, you’re impressed right? Sledding was also a good time, but I’m still recovering from the wipeouts. I think my tailbone hates me.

In the spirit of celebrating nature, lets watch a beautiful Lake Tahoe wedding, shall we?
Kaley grew up spending many family vacations in Lake Tahoe at the family cabin. It has always been a very special place to her and her family, so it was an obvious choice when it came time to plan the wedding. The wedding took place at Gatekeeper’s Park on the west side of the lake. It was all outdoors on a piece of land cornered by the lake and the the Truckie River, with huge evergreen trees overhead. All of the details were organized and put together by the Bride’s mom, and many friends and family members helped put everything together. Kaley and Grady love the outdoors and Tahoe is really special to them, so we tried our best to incorporate as much of the scenery as we could to paint the perfect backdrop for their story.

p.s. You know you’re wedding is in the wilderness when a 300 pound black bear crashes the rehearsal. See photo below. LOL

Note: No bears or humans were harmed in the production of this wedding. :)
