Well it has been a pretty busy week but very rewarding. Editing by day, filming documentaries by night... I even had a really cool photo shoot today (more on all that later). I feel so blessed to be able to meet and tell the stories of so many incredible people that come from different backgrounds and cultures. Getting to travel around the world to tell stories is such a privilege and I am so grateful. I can’t wait for some of the projects that are coming up in 2013 and I look forward to connecting all of you with some really cool people and their stories.
Let’s watch a film, shall we?
Christy and Brett had their wedding in the backyard of Brett’s parents' in Encinitas. This wedding was an amazing example of a family coming together to make things happen. All their immediate family helped out in the planning and decorating of the house. Every little decoration was pretty much handmade - her mom sewed the ring bearer pillows, his mom put together the centerpieces, her sister-in-law made the flower girl tutus, and Brett made an entire photo booth from scratch. Pretty impressive right? The details and flowers came together really well and made for one sweet DIY backyard wedding. Christy called it “a labor of love” - nice!
Now how many of you have seen a groom flip his bride on the dance floor? I’d only seen it once before this wedding and I’m in the biz! When you think about it, it must take some serious guts. Especially since it wasn’t rehearsed, nor was it planned. So did Christy land it you ask? Well you’ll just have to watch the film and find out. Cheers!
